UPSC Invites Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) from interested Candidates for the following Posts :

1. Director – 01 Post UR

Department : Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries,  Ministry of Agriculture.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs.6,600 (Grade pay)

Qualification : i)  Degree in Agriculture from a recognized University. ii) Post graduate degree in Agriculture or Agronomy from a recognized University or B.Sc.(Botany/Zoology/Chemistry) and M.Sc. (Dairying) with Forage Production as a subject from recognized University.

Experience : Five years experience in Planning and Organization of Fodder Farming or Research or Extension work in Fodder Production.

Desirable : Doctorate Degree in Agronomy of a recognized university.

2. Medical Officer/Research Officer (SIDDHA) – 01UR

Department : Department of Ayush, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs.5,400 (Grade pay) + NPA

Qualification : (i) A Degree in Siddha of a Recognised University/Statutory State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine or equivalent recognised under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970(48 0f 1970). (ii) Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.

3. Administrative Officer – 01 UR

Department : Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture.

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs.4,600 (Grade pay)

Qualification : Degree from a recognized University.

Experience : Two years’ experience of administrative, accounts and establishment work in Government Office or in a public body.

4.  Technical Officer (Forestry) Grade-II 03 Posts (UR – 02 ; OBC – 01)

Department : Ministry of Environment & Forests

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs.4,600

Qualification : Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operations Research or Forestry or Economics (with Statistics) or Commerce (with Statistics) or Mathematics (with Statistics)  or Agriculture (with Statistics) or two years’ Post-Graduate Diploma in Forestry  Management from a recognized Institute/University

Experience : Two years’ experience in collection or compilation or analysis of data including data in Agriculture or Forestry work.

5. Officer-in-Charge (Cartoon Film Unit) – 01 UR

Department : Films Division, Mumbai, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs.6,600 (Grade pay)

Qualification :  Degree/Diploma in Commercial or Fine Arts of a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.

Experience : Five years’ experience in production of animation/cartoon films in an organization.

Desirable : i)  Diploma in Cinematography from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. ii)  Knowledge of Indian History, Culture and Folk-lore and current affairs.

6. Deputy Director – 01 Post OBC

Department : Films Division, Mumbai, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs.5,400 (Grade pay)

Qualification : i)    Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. ii)  Diploma in Cinema (Direction) from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.

Experience : Three years experience of production of motion picture films in an organization.

7. Assistant Director Grade-II (Tailoring) – 01 Post UR

Department : Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs.4,600

Qualification : Degree in Textile Technology/Hosiery Technology/ Knitting Technology from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.

Experience : Two years experience in supervisory capacity in a technical / industrial unit in the manufacture of Hosiery / Knitted products/ Ready made Garments or experience in promotion of small scale industries in areas of entrepreneurship development and quality control.

8. Five Assistant Director Grade-II (Mechanical)

No. of Posts : 05 (UR – 04 ; OBC – 01)

Department : Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME) , Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs.4,600

Qualification : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent

Experience : Two years experience in supervisory capacity in a technical/industrial unit in production/testing / inspection of Mechanical Engineering products or experience in promotion of small scale industries in areas of entrepreneurship development and quality control.

9. Assistant Director Grade-II (Metallurgy) – 02 UR

Department : Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs.4,600

Qualification : Degree in Metallurgy Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent

Experience : Two years experience in supervisory capacity in a technical/industrial unit in production/testing / inspection of Metallurgy Engineering products or experience in promotion of small scale industries in area of entrepreneurship development and quality control.

10. Assistant Labour Commissioner – 01 Post UR

Department : Directorate of Employment and Training, Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs.5,400 (Grade pay)

Qualification : A Post Graduate Degree/Diploma from a recognized University in Social Work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management OR A Degree in Law from a recognized University.

Experience : Two years experience in the field of Labour Welfare work/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management.

11. Principal – 01 Post UR

Department : Directorate of Employment and Training, Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs.4,600

Qualification : Degree in Engineering/ Technology of recognized University with two years teaching experience in workshop/ industrial or apprenticeship training or Industrial Training Institute. OR Diploma in Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University/ Institute with five years teaching experience in workshop/ industrial or apprenticeship training or Industrial Training Institute.
