Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR is one of the lead Centres of Indian SpaceResearch Organisation and situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR has a unique combination of facilities of Solid Propellant Production Plant, a Rocket Motor Static Test Facility, Launch Complexes for variety of rockets, Telemetry, Telecommand,Tracking, Data Acquisition and processing facilities and other support services.
SDSC SHAR invite applications for the following posts :
1. Medical Officer ‘SD’ (Physician) – 01 Post
Pay Scale : Pay Band Rs.15600-39100/- + GP Rs.6600/- + NPA+ Incentive (Approx. Rs.53,805/- pm)
Qualification and Experience : M.D/D N B in General Medicine/ Internal Medicine recognized and registered with Medical Council of India. Experience in Cardiology and ICU/CCU is preferable.
2. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Safety) – 02 Posts
Pay Scale : Pay Band Rs.15600-39100/- + GP Rs.5400/- (Approx. Rs.34,650/- pm)
Qualification and Experience : M.E/M.Tech. in Industrial Safety in First class or equivalent with minimum of 60% of marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent with B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in First class or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 65% (Average of all semesters)
Age Limit : 18-35 years as on 24.09.2012 (Relaxation – SC – 5yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 yrs)
3. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Safety) – 02 Posts

5. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (M.Sc. Organic/Analytical Chemistry) – 01 Post
Pay Scale : Pay Band Rs.15600-39100/- + GP Rs.5400/- (Approx. Rs.34,650/- pm)
Qualification and Experience : M.Sc. Organic/Analytical Chemistry in First class or equivalent with B.Sc. Chemistry in First class with Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science /Geology /Statistics as any other two subjects.
Age Limit : 18-35 years as on 24.09.2012 (Relaxation – SC – 5yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 yrs)

Selection Process : Based on the academic qualifications and bio-data, initial screening will be done to short-list candidates for interview. Stipulated experience, wherever applicable, will be reckonable only after acquiring the essential qualification.
